Let us know if you’d like more information and would like to sign up for a group.

There will be many opportunities to join together in corporate prayer and worship in January, so mark your calendars and be sure to join us.

October Newsletter 2023

As we get into the Fall season, we are putting our focus on prayer and discipleship as a church both on Sundays and also throughout the week. Prayer is such a powerful and important part of our personal walk with Jesus, but it is also vital to us as a church family. We are excited to have opportunities to gather to pray with one another in community in the coming months.

We are shifting our community groups in October and adding several new groups that will be meeting together in homes on different nights throughout the week to pray together, build relationships, and disciple one another. We are really excited to be having several new locations opening up so that we can have more people hosting, have groups small enough to allow for real connection with one another, and have times and locations that work for everyone’s schedules. If you’d like to join a community group, contact Pastor Daniel at daniel@redemptiondb.com

As we add and rearrange our community groups, we will also be getting back into a rhythm of groups meeting weekly and not every other week as we have been doing. Hopefully this will allow everyone to gather more consistently and if you need to miss a week, you won’t have to go so long between being there.

With our focus on prayer, we will also be fasting and praying the first Friday of each month starting this Friday, October 6th. Whether you choose to fast from a meal or for the day, take time to pray with us for the needs of our church, our families, our and our community. We believe God moves powerfully when we pray, and we want to be intentional about taking time to fast and pray as a church. There will not be community groups the first week of the month.

We are also excited to have a new opportunities for the MEN in our church to meet on Wednesday mornings from 7am-7:30am over zoom for a time of prayer. Contact Christian for the Zoom link to join or email us at info@redemptiondb.com. The LADIES are also continuing their prayer meetings on Friday mornings from 10am-11:30am in person to pray together, and if you’d like location information, please reach out at info@redemptiondb.com

Finally, we are having a time BEFORE our Sunday evening services for prayer from 4:30pm-4:50pm. We’d love to have you come early to pray over our service and the needs in the church before we gather for worship and teaching at 5pm. The prayer group will be meeting in a Sunday school classroom each Sunday at 4:30pm and we would love to have you come participate.

Every year, the City of Delray hosts an event at the end of October for the kids in our community called Kidsfest, and we have had the opportunity to host a booth as a church! Its a wonderful opportunity to be involved in our community and reach people with the love of Jesus in a fun and natural way. Various businesses, vendors, and organizations come and host games and activities for kids following their Trick or Treat down the Ave. It’s a really fun opportunity to be in our community!

We will need VOLUNTEERS to come for one of two shifts to help set up, tear down, hand out candy and invites to church, and run a game for the kids. It’s a great time to spend a few hours serving and reaching out to people in our city.

Let us know if you’d be interested in coming to help volunteer by signing up at the Connection Table on Sunday. We will have two shifts to volunteer: 10:30am-1:30pm and 1:30pm-4:30pm. You can also help by DONATING A BAG OF CANDY (no chocolate or anything that could melt please) and bringing it to a Sunday service ahead of time. And be PRAYING for God to open doors for the gospel as we reach out in this way.

September Newsletter 2023

Dear Redemption Family,

For the past 10 years, Redemption Church has had a wonderful partnership with the House of Blessing ministry in Bachiniva, Mexico. Jason and Jackie Sanchez are good friends and missionaries from Washington State that moved to Mexico to build and start an orphanage in the small community of Bachiniva in 2012. Since that time, we have seen God work in incredible ways through this ministry, and last year, they were able to officially transition from an orphanage to opening a Christian School. This is their second school year, and enrollment has DOUBLED from last year to over 90 students! Pastor Daniel serves on the board of House of Blessing, and we are very excited to see how God continues to work in the children and families in this community in Mexico.

In October, Jason Sanchez will be back in Florida with us, and we are looking forward to hearing more about how God is working there and also hosting our Annual Golf Tournament Fundraiser for House of Blessing. Below are a few important dates to put on your calendar for the week he is here:

Sunday, October 1st @ 5pm - Special Message from Jason and Afterglow Service

Jason will be teaching at our 5pm Service on Sunday, October 1st and sharing stories of how God is working in this new season for House of Blessing and the ministry in Bachiniva. Immediately after our regular service, we will have an Afterglow time for worship and prayer where Jason will lead us in praise and worship—Jason is also a really gifted musician and worship leader, so you won’t want to miss it. We hope you can join us for this special night!

Tuesday, October 3rd @ 7pm - Mexico Mission Trip Interest Meeting

We have taken many missions trips to serve in Bachiniva, Mexico, and if you are interested in hearing more about what a trip looks like, Jason will share what to expect and answer questions about a possible upcoming missions trip. Missions trips are an amazing opportunity to serve and also to see God working in a completely different part of the world. We will be meeting at the Williams’ house.

Saturday, October 7th - House of Blessing Golf Tournament Fundraiser

This will be our 3rd Annual Golf Tournament here in Florida to raise funds for the House of Blessing ministry in Mexico. This is wonderful opportunity to invite friends and family who golf to attend or even bring a team to play! There are all sorts of fun extras like a dinner afterward, raffle tickets and lots of prizes. Even if you are not a golfer, we’d love to have you participate as a volunteer with registration tables, set up, donations, sponsorship, and lots of other details! Please let us know if you are interested in volunteering or sponsoring in another way. You can find more info and register for the tournament at hobgolf.org

We are looking forward to an exciting week while Jason is here. Please join us in praying for God’s provision and blessing on the Golf Tournament Fund Raiser and for the ministry in Bachiniva as they start their second school year this month!

April Newsletter 2023

Dear Redemption Family,

Happy Easter!

As we celebrate Jesus’ resurrection this month, we have several opportunities to gather together and learn more about why this is so important for our faith. We will be having a joint service with Gospel Fellowship on Good Friday, a special Easter Service on Easter Sunday, and an Easter Dinner on Sunday evening to reflect, worship, and celebrate with one another. Read below for details on where and when we wil be gathering throughout Easter weekend.

Good Friday Service - Friday, April 7 @ 7pm

Good Friday is the day we remember Jesus’ death on the cross and all that was accomplished when He gave His life for us. We will be reflecting on this in scripture and taking communion at our joint Good Friday Service at Gospel Fellowship. The location address is 138 SE 27th ave Boynton Beach, Fl 33435.

Easter Service and Easter Dinner - Sunday, April 9 @ 5pm

Join us for our Easter Service at 5pm as we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus! We are looking forward to a special message from Pastor Daniel and an Easter celebration in Redemption Kids.
