An additional way to support Redemption Church is through Amazon's program called Amazon Smile, which gives .5% of your eligible purchases to a nonprofit of your choice. This DOES NOT COST YOU MONEY but instead, Amazon is offering to give select nonprofits, including Redemption Church, money out of their own pocket. All you have to do is go to THIS LINK to choose Redemption Church Delray Beach as your charity of choice. Redemption Church will then benefit every time to shop at Amazon, as long as you go to smile.amazon.com whenever you go to shop at Amazon. Thanks for the support!

In the Bible, we see that generous living is...

  1. A reflection of your heart. (Matthew 6:19-20)

  2. A privilege. (2 Corinthians 8:2-4,7)

  3. Faith in action. (James 1:22-25)

Living a generous life is a reflection of what is already in your heart. We believe that giving is not a compulsion, but rather an act that represents the worship in one’s heart to Jesus. Giving is a practical way to demonstrate generosity and selflessness in a way that blesses our church body, ministries we support, those in need, and our pastoral staff. Giving is also an act of obedience and faith, trusting that God will provide for our needs as He has promised us!

Here are a few answers to frequently asked questions regarding giving at Redemption Church:

1. Why should I give?

Tithing was setup by God in the Old Testament as a giving 10% of your income to the tabernacle. Being under the New Covenant means that we are no longer saved by obeying the Old Testament Law, rather we are now given the power and grace to give from a heart of faith and thankfulness, not from obligation. We believe that tithing to your local church should springboard a lifestyle of generosity which should mark the life of every Christian.

2. What does Redemption Church do with the money given?

At Redemption Church, our financial goal is to use every cent in order to further the Gospel and expand the Kingdom of God. Some examples of how we do this include setting aside 10% of all money received to support church planting—we currently support several church plants both inside and outside of the United States. We also support foreign missions and missionaries, prioritize giving to those in need through benevolence, and pay for the practical ministry at Redemption Church (Sunday service costs). Finally, we use money received to support our pastoral and administrative staff as we are able.

3. A prayer for you

Our prayer for you is that you would make Jesus the treasure of your heart and continues to live for Him with your whole life. We pray that you would experience the promise He has given to us that “it is better to give than to receive.” May the Lord guide and direct you as you seek to honor Him with what you have been given.

We encourage you to listen to Pastor Daniel’s message on giving and our finances entitled “Is God After My Money?”
