United 21 Day Fast is starting on January 9th, and we are excited to have you join with us!
For the past several years, we have partnered together with several local churches to seek Jesus together through prayer and fasting together. We have seen God do great things as we’ve joined together as the unified Church to pray, fast, and worship as one body. We set aside a period of 21 days in January to intentionally do this together as we start a new year.
In 2023, as we take 21 days to fast and pray, we want to encourage you to PURSUE HIM, which is this year’s theme. We hope you are encouraged and built up in faith as you set aside time to seek Jesus, bring your requests before Him, and spend time listening as His Spirit ministers to you during this special time. We look forward to pursuing Him with you!
How to Get Involved:
1. Weekly Themes and Daily Devotionals
We want our hearts and minds to be set on Jesus and the focus of this time to be about PURSUING HIM. As we do this, we have 3 areas where the Bible tells us we will see God respond to us! When we pursue Him, we find FREEDOM, we find JOY, and we find STRENGTH. These will be our weekly themes as we pursue Jesus and we have a resource that you can follow along with daily devotionals and responsive prayer for each weekly theme. 2. Invite others to join you
All are welcome to participate and seek God intentionally in fasting and prayer. Whether you choose to fast certain meals, a few days, or fast from particular foods or activities, we want you to be involved and invite others to join you! 3. Worship and Prayer Nights on January 13th, 20th, & 27th
Join us for our COMMUNITY PRAYER AND WORSHIP NIGHTS each Friday throughout the 21 Day Fast where we will focus on the theme for that week and spend time in worship and prayer together. We will be gathering at three different locations during our fast to worship and pray together. There is no cost to attend, but registration is require, so visit the United21DayFast website to register. Childcare will not be provided but are welcome to participate.
